Product Description

The LORELL 60997 is a 12-inch round radio-controlled wall clock housed in a plastic case with a white dial and black Arabic numerals. It synchronizes automatically with the atomic time signal broadcast by NIST, maintaining accuracy to within one second per million years. The clock self-adjusts for Daylight Saving Time without any manual intervention. A tempered glass cover protects the dial face. Facilities managers, office staff, and commercial building contractors commonly install this clock wherever reliable, low-maintenance timekeeping is required.

This clock is designed for use in the continental United States, where it receives the WWVB radio signal broadcast from Fort Collins, Colorado. It is well suited for offices, classrooms, waiting rooms, and light commercial spaces. The single AA battery power source keeps installation straightforward with no hardwiring required. The white dial and high-contrast black numerals support readability across a range of room sizes and lighting conditions.

Insert one AA battery before hanging to allow the clock to acquire the radio signal, which may take up to several minutes in areas with strong signal reception. Locate the clock away from large metal obstructions or electronic interference sources that could block the WWVB signal. No licensed trade credential is required for standard wall-mount installation of battery-powered clocks.
