The LEGRIS 7775 18 18 is a threaded inline air flow control valve designed for compressed air and pneumatic plumbing systems. It regulates airflow in one direction using an in-flow configuration, giving technicians precise control over actuator speed or downstream air volume. The body is constructed from nylon for lightweight, corrosion-resistant service. Connections are 3/8 inch female NPT on both ends, making integration into standard threaded pneumatic lines straightforward. This valve is suited for industrial, commercial, and mechanical system applications where controlled airflow is required at the component level. Licensed plumbing and mechanical contractors, as well as industrial maintenance technicians, are the typical installers.
This valve fits inline within 3/8 inch NPT threaded pneumatic circuits. It is commonly installed on air cylinders, actuators, and directional control valve ports to meter airflow on the inlet stroke. The in-flow control configuration means the valve restricts flow entering the device while allowing free flow in the reverse direction. It supports full vacuum rating, making it usable in both pressure and vacuum pneumatic circuits. Typical applications include light manufacturing, automated assembly equipment, HVAC pneumatic controls, and general compressed air distribution systems.

Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanical or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the air supply completely before removing or installing any inline pneumatic valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to NPT threads in accordance with the system manufacturer requirements and applicable mechanical codes. Verify the flow direction arrow or in-flow designation on the valve body is oriented correctly relative to the intended metered flow path before pressurizing the system.
