The LEGRIS 7100 14 21 is a push-to-connect metal flow control valve designed to regulate airflow in pneumatic systems. It accepts a 14mm outside-diameter tube on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/2 inch BSPP male thread on the port end. The body is constructed from treated brass for durability in compressed-air service environments. Flow direction is out-flow, meaning the valve meters air leaving the actuator or component rather than air entering it. This type of meter-out configuration is the standard choice for controlling actuator speed in pneumatic circuits. The valve is intended for installation by pneumatic system technicians, maintenance mechanics, and industrial tradespeople working on compressed-air distribution and control systems.
This valve is suited for pneumatic plumbing in manufacturing, automation, and process-control applications where precise airflow regulation is required at actuator ports or branch lines. The push-to-connect fitting allows for fast tube insertion and secure retention without additional fittings or tools beyond tube preparation. The 1/2 BSPP male thread is compatible with standard metric-thread pneumatic manifolds, valve bodies, and ported components common in European and international equipment. Depressurize and lock out the compressed-air supply before removing or installing any pneumatic fitting or valve. Cut tubing square and deburr the end before inserting into the push-to-connect collet to ensure full engagement and a leak-free seal. Thread the BSPP male end into the port by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench, taking care not to overtighten treated brass threads. After pressurizing the system, verify all connections with a leak-detection solution before returning the circuit to service.
