The LEGRIS 7100 06 13 is a push-to-connect metal flow control valve designed to regulate airflow in pneumatic systems. It accepts a 6mm outside diameter tube on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 1/4 inch male BSPP threaded port on the other side. The body is constructed from treated brass, and the valve controls out-flow direction, meaning it meters air leaving the actuator or downstream component. The internal O-ring is made from Buna Nitrile, suitable for standard compressed air service. This valve is installed by pneumatic system technicians and industrial maintenance professionals working with metric tube fittings and BSPP-threaded manifolds or actuators.
This flow control valve is used in pneumatic circuits where precise speed control of actuator movement is required. The out-flow configuration means the metering action occurs on the exhaust side of the connected component, which is a common setup for controlling the extend or retract speed of pneumatic cylinders. It is suited for light industrial, automation, and process control applications using 6mm metric tubing and BSPP-threaded porting, which is common in European-specification equipment and machinery.
Designed for use in pneumatic circuits with 6mm outside diameter metric tubing and components with 1/4 inch female BSPP threaded ports. Typical applications include pneumatic actuators, cylinders, and valve manifolds using BSPP-threaded connections.
Depressurize the pneumatic system completely before removing or installing any flow control valve. Thread the BSPP male end into the mating female port by hand before applying a wrench to avoid cross-threading brass fittings. Insert the 6mm tube into the push-to-connect end until it seats fully, then tug to confirm retention. Verify out-flow orientation matches the intended metering direction in the circuit before pressurizing.
