The LEGRIS 0116 10 00 is a brass compression tube bulkhead union designed for through-panel tube connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems. It accepts 10mm outside diameter tubing on both ends using compression-style end connections, creating a secure, leak-resistant seal without soldering or threading. Rated to 174 psi maximum working pressure and certified to ATEX, PED, CNOMO E07.21.115N, REACH, and RoHS standards, this fitting suits demanding industrial and hazardous-location applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians typically install this type of fitting in panel-mount configurations.
This bulkhead union is suited for panel or enclosure installations where a tube line must pass cleanly through a partition wall or mounting surface. The compression-by-compression configuration allows connection and disconnection from either side without special tooling. Its temperature range of -40 degrees F minimum to 212 degrees F maximum (100 degrees C) makes it appropriate for a wide range of process and pneumatic environments, including those where ATEX compliance for potentially explosive atmospheres is required.
Designed for use with 10mm outside diameter tubing in compression-fit pneumatic and fluid system installations requiring bulkhead panel mounting. No additional model-specific compatibility data was provided in the product listing.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified maintenance technician familiar with compression fittings and the applicable system fluid or gas. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the panel or bulkhead hole is sized and deburred to the fitting manufacturer specifications to achieve a proper seal and avoid housing damage. In ATEX-rated installations, verify that all surrounding components and the installation environment meet the same hazardous-location classification requirements.
