The LEGRIS 0116 04 00 is a brass compression tube bulkhead union designed to pass tubing through a panel, wall, or enclosure while maintaining a leak-resistant compression seal on both sides. Configured with compression connections on each end, the fitting accepts tubing on the interior and exterior faces of a bulkhead, creating a straight-through fluid or pneumatic pathway. It carries a maximum working pressure of 464 psi and operates across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). Licensed HVAC technicians, instrumentation fitters, and industrial plumbing professionals install this type of fitting in compressed air, pneumatic control, and fluid-transfer lines where a clean panel penetration is required.
This bulkhead union is suited for industrial and commercial installations where tubing must be routed through enclosure walls, machine frames, or control panels. Its compression-on-both-ends design eliminates the need for flare tools or solder, making field installation straightforward in confined spaces. The fitting meets ATEX certification requirements, making it appropriate for use in potentially explosive atmospheres where qualified fittings are required by site safety specifications. Compliance with CNOMO standard E07.21.115N, PED, REACH, RoHS, and Proposition 65 requirements broadens its acceptance across North American and European project specifications.
Designed as an OEM-style compression bulkhead union for pneumatic tubing systems requiring certified panel-penetration fittings in industrial and commercial applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified fitter or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the tubing end is cut square, deburred, and fully seated before tightening the compression nut. Verify that the bulkhead panel thickness and hole diameter are within the fitting manufacturer's specified range prior to final assembly.
