The LEGEND VALVE 202-503 is a 1/2-inch CPVC stop valve designed for cold water shutoff in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built from CPVC, this valve resists corrosion and is suited for chlorinated water supply lines where metal valves may degrade over time. Rated at 125 CWP (cold working pressure), the 202-503 provides a reliable in-line shutoff point for supply lines, fixture connections, and branch isolations. Its compact form factor — 3.6 x 2.5 x 2 inches — fits in tight spaces common to under-sink and in-wall installations. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
This stop valve is intended for cold water plumbing applications where CPVC pipe and fittings are already present in the system. Typical installations include residential water supply branches, fixture shutoffs, and remodel or retrofit work where CPVC is the specified pipe material. The compact dimensions make it practical for installations inside wall cavities, vanity cabinets, and utility closets.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation stop valve for 1/2-inch CPVC cold water plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Solvent-cement CPVC fittings require the correct CPVC-rated primer and cement — do not substitute PVC cement. Allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer instructions before restoring pressure to the line.
