The LARSEN SUPPLY CO. 03-1224 is a chrome-plated replacement shower drain designed for top mount installation in residential shower applications. Known as the WingTite drain, it connects to 2-inch ABS or PVC drain pipe using a hanging clamshell mounting system that simplifies retrofit installation without requiring access from below the shower floor. The chrome-plated finish provides a clean, finished appearance. This drain is suited for plumbers and experienced DIYers replacing worn or damaged drains in existing shower enclosures where a straightforward, top-side installation is required.

The 03-1224 is intended for use with fiberglass shower enclosures and shower pans. The WingTite clamshell design allows the drain body to be secured from the top, making it a practical choice when the subfloor or underside of the shower pan is inaccessible. This is common in slab-on-grade construction or finished lower levels where cutting into the ceiling below is not feasible. Installation Notes

Inspect the drain opening in the shower pan for cracks or deformation before setting the new drain body.
