The KYOCERA TCS01223 is a triangular ceramic turning insert designed for high-speed machining of hard and difficult-to-cut materials. Built to ISO and ANSI standards under the ISOI series, this insert features an aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and titanium carbonitride (TiC/TiN) PVD coating applied over a ceramic substrate. It carries a TPG style with a neutral hand orientation, a 1/4 inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32 inch corner radius. With three usable cutting edges and positive rake geometry, it delivers consistent performance in external turning, facing, boring, and chamfering operations.

This insert is suited for hard turning applications in industrial and precision machining environments. The A66N manufacturer grade and H01/H10 material grade designations target hardened steels and similarly hard workpiece materials. Installation Notes
