The KENNAMETAL 7102873 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill from the HARVI IV series, designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features an 0.625-inch mill diameter with 8 helical flutes, a 0.030-inch corner radius, and an AlCrN coating for extended tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. The variable helix and variable index geometry reduce chatter and harmonic vibration during cut, making it well-suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes on hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and heat management at the cutting zone.

This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers handling ferrous alloys, hardened steels, and similar materials where edge stability and surface finish control are priorities. With a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 4-inch overall length on a straight cylindrical shank, it fits standard toolholders with a 5/8-inch bore.
