Manufactured in grade KCU10B with an AlTiN coating applied via PVD process, this insert delivers wear resistance and thermal stability in demanding cutting conditions. It features a 0.80 mm (0.0313 inch) corner radius, an 11-degree included angle, and an 8-degree relief angle with a matching 8-degree rake angle. The left-hand orientation and clamp-style holding method suit specific toolholder configurations. With two cutting edges per insert, it offers extended tool life per piece. Machinists and CNC operators handling profiling, grooving, and contour turning work will find this insert sized at 0.1250 inches thickness and 0.1250 inches width.
This insert is intended for left-hand profiling and contour turning applications in production and job-shop environments.
