The KENNAMETAL 7034387 is a carbide indexable drill insert designed for use in indexable drill bodies that accept the DFPR insert style. Manufactured to grade KC7140 with a TiN/TiCN/TiN multilayer coating, this insert delivers wear resistance and thermal protection during metal cutting operations. It features a proprietary shape with an 11-degree relief angle, a corner radius of 0.031 inches (0.80 mm), and an inscribed circle of 0.533 inches (13.55 mm). The MS chipbreaker geometry promotes controlled chip evacuation in a variety of workpiece materials. Installation and replacement are performed by machinists and toolroom technicians during scheduled insert indexing or changeover.
