The KENNAMETAL 6771156 is a replaceable drill tip designed for use with KTFSS-series modular drilling systems. It carries an 18.50 mm cutting diameter, a 180-degree flat point angle, and a straight flute configuration with two flutes and four margins. The tip is manufactured from fine-grain solid carbide in grade KCP15A and is PVD-coated with AlTiN for thermal resistance and wear performance during demanding metal-cutting operations. Seat size is W, and the insert geometry is FEG. Licensed machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians working with modular drill bodies will find this tip suited for high-productivity hole-making applications.

This replaceable tip is intended for use in KTFSS-series modular drill bodies sized for the W seat. Supported applications include flat-bottom drilling, inclined entry and inclined exit drilling, and counter-boring operations. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, and cast iron, corresponding to ISO material codes P, M, and K. The straight spiral and flat point geometry make it well suited for through-feature and shallow flat-bottom holes where a conventional point angle would leave an unacceptable cone-shaped floor.
