The KENNAMETAL 6771133 is a replaceable drill tip designed for use with compatible indexable drill bodies in the KTFSS series. The tip features a 14.50 mm cutting diameter, a 180-degree included angle with a flat point geometry, and is manufactured from fine-grain solid carbide in grade KCP15A. An AlTiN coating applied via PVD process improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The straight-flute, two-flute configuration with a four-margin design provides stable guidance and accurate hole positioning. This tip is intended for professional machining environments where repeatable hole quality and tool-change efficiency are critical.

This replaceable drill tip is suited for drilling operations in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. The flat-point geometry supports flat-bottom drilling, inclined entry, inclined exit, and counterboring applications. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing the tip. Seat the tip fully and engage the clamp mechanism according to the drill body manufacturer guidelines before any cutting operation. Inspect the seating pocket for chips or wear before inserting a new tip, as contamination in the seat can affect runout and hole accuracy.
