The KENNAMETAL 5626739 is a replaceable drill tip in the KSEM series, designed for use with compatible KSEM modular drill bodies. It features a 1.1720-inch (29.77 mm) cutting diameter with a 140-degree point angle and helical fluting. The tip is manufactured from solid carbide using a fine-grain material grade and carries the KCPM45 manufacturer grade designation. A PVD-applied TiAlN coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability during cutting. Coolant-through capability, including MQL (minimum quantity lubrication) compatibility, supports chip evacuation and thermal management at the cutting zone. This tip is installed by machinists and tooling technicians working on CNC drilling operations.

This replaceable tip is suited for drilling operations in steel and stainless steel workpiece materials, corresponding to ISO material groups P and M. The HPG insert geometry supports demanding applications including drilling on inclined exits and stacked plates.
