The KENNAMETAL 1013502 is a DA180 double angle reamer collet chuck designed for precision reaming operations on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. It accepts a straight shank interface at 2 inches and provides 2.88 inches of projection from the spindle face. The collet capacity ranges from 1/32 inch to 3/4 inch, accommodating a wide range of reamer shank diameters. Through-coolant capability delivers cutting fluid directly to the tool tip, supporting tool life and chip evacuation in deep-bore reaming applications. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers of this toolholder.
This collet chuck is suited for production machining environments where consistent bore sizing and fine surface finish are required. The DA180 double angle collet system provides radial float, which allows the reamer to self-center in a previously drilled or bored hole. A locknut diameter of 2.38 inches and a float-from-center value of 0.10 inch support controlled floating action during the reaming pass. It is appropriate for use in both ferrous and non-ferrous material applications where reamer runout and alignment must be tightly managed.
