The KANTECH US T.REX-XL2-NL is a request-to-exit (REX) detector combining a piezo sounder, a programmable timer, and dual relay outputs in a white housing. REX detectors are passive infrared devices mounted above or beside a door to signal an access control panel when a person approaches to exit a secured area. The integrated piezo provides audible feedback, while the timer controls relay hold time after detection. This unit ships individually and is installed by licensed security, low-voltage, or access control technicians as part of a complete door access control system.

The T.REX-XL2-NL is suited for interior door applications in commercial and institutional buildings where controlled egress is required. Typical installations include office suites, server rooms, healthcare facilities, and other secured interior doors. The dual relay outputs allow simultaneous control of a door strike or magnetic lock along with an auxiliary device such as an alarm panel input or door position monitor. Installation Notes
