The ISCAR 7006620 is a no-head set screw designed to secure indexable inserts in grooving and turning toolholders. It features a hex socket drive and a 5/16-inch (8.00 mm) thread. The overall length is 0.2496 inches (6.34 mm), making it a compact clamping fastener suited to precision toolholder assemblies. Drive engagement is made with an HW 5/32 hex key. Part of the JetHPLine and Tang-Grip series, this set screw is an OEM-style hardware component installed by machinists and toolroom technicians maintaining indexable cutting tool assemblies.
This set screw is used in grooving and turning applications where indexable insert retention hardware must be replaced or replenished. It is sized and threaded to work within JetHPLine and Tang-Grip series toolholders. Typical install scenarios include insert changeover during production runs or toolholder rebuild in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. The part ships individually but must be ordered in multiples of 5.

Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians. Before replacing insert clamping hardware, remove the toolholder from service and ensure the spindle or turret is fully de-energized and locked out. Use the correct HW 5/32 hex key driver to seat the screw without damaging the socket. Do not substitute a driver of a different size, as this can strip the hex socket and render the screw non-removable.
