The ISCAR 7002791 is a countersunk-head cap screw designed to secure indexable inserts in milling toolholders. It uses a T20 Torx drive and M5 thread, providing reliable clamping torque without stripping or cam-out during insert changes. At 10.40 mm overall length, the screw seats flush in the insert pocket, keeping the cutting geometry consistent. This fastener is part of the Helialu series and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom technicians who maintain indexable milling tool assemblies in production or job-shop environments.
This cap screw is compatible with HM90 and SM style toolholders used in indexable milling applications. It is driven with BLD T20/M7 or BLD T20/S7 key drivers and is rated for insert-securing duty in Helialu series milling cutters. Typical installations include face mills, shoulder mills, and helical milling bodies that accept M5 countersunk insert screws. This screw is sold in multiples of 5, making it practical to stock as a maintenance consumable for shops running high-volume indexable tooling programs.
