The ISCAR 6491257 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for precision external grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying the GIMN608N insert style designation and manufactured in the IC907 grade, this insert features a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating for extended wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. The 6 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 2.40 mm make it well suited for defined-width groove profiles.
