The ISCAR 6450132 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for precision parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured to the TGMF404F geometry with an IC830 grade substrate, this insert features an AlTiN and TiN PVD coating applied for extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. It delivers a 4 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 2.4 mm, making it well suited for moderate-depth grooving work. The double-ended design allows the insert to be flipped for a second cutting edge, reducing tooling cost per part. Installation uses a clamp-style holding method compatible with Top Grip series toolholders.

This insert is intended for use in the Top Grip series grooving system on CNC turning equipment. The primary workpiece materials are superalloys and titanium, with ISO material codes M, P, and S.
