The ISCAR 6411154 is a solid carbide internal grooving tool designed for precision groove-cutting operations in bore and inner-diameter applications. Built from solid carbide throughout, it delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for consistent groove geometry in production and job-shop environments. The tool features a 6 mm shank diameter, a 2 mm groove width, and an overall length of 37 mm (1.457 inches), making it well suited for small-bore work where clearance is tight. Machinists and toolroom technicians working on CNC lathes and boring setups will find this tool appropriate for repeatable internal grooving passes.
This grooving tool is intended for internal grooving in bores with a minimum hole diameter of 6 mm (0.236 inches). It reaches a maximum hole depth of 21 mm (0.827 inches), with a projection of 1.80 mm (0.071 inches) beyond the shank. The shank length measures 16 mm (0.630 inches). It is suited for light to medium material removal in tight-tolerance bore-grooving operations on CNC turning centers and manual lathes handling small-diameter workpieces.
Designed as an OEM-style internal grooving tool for use in standard 6 mm shank toolholding systems on CNC turning centers and lathes capable of small-bore internal operations.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all axes are locked before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify shank seating depth and runout before commencing cuts. Do not exceed the tool's stated minimum hole diameter or maximum hole depth to avoid tool deflection or breakage.
