The ISCAR 6405008 is a solid carbide grooving insert carrying the GIPI250020P geometry in the IC830 manufacturer grade. The insert features a 2.5 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 6.00 mm, making it well suited for precision groove profiles in demanding workpiece materials. The PVD-applied AlTiN and TiN dual coating delivers heat resistance and extended tool life when cutting superalloys and titanium. Installation Notes
