The ISCAR 6404093 is a solid carbide grooving insert with the GDMN808N geometry and IC808 manufacturer grade, designed for use in Cut-Grip series grooving toolholders. It delivers a cutting width of 0.315 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 1.063 inches, making it suitable for medium to deep grooving operations on a lathe. The insert features an AlTiN, TiAlN, and TiN multilayer coating applied via PVD process, which improves wear resistance and performance across a broad range of workpiece materials. Neutral hand orientation makes it compatible with straight-shank and cut-off applications. Installation Notes
