The ISCAR 6403671 is a solid carbide chamfering boring bar designed for internal chamfering operations on small-diameter bores. With a minimum bore diameter of 0.1575 inches and a maximum bore depth of 1.063 inches, this bar handles tight, deep-bore chamfering tasks where rigidity and precision are critical. The right-hand cutting direction suits standard CNC lathe and boring setups. A TiCN and TiN finish coating improves wear resistance and surface finish performance. Manufacturer grade IC228 carbide substrate is suited for a range of workpiece materials encountered in precision machining environments. Qualified machinists and CNC operators install and qualify this type of tooling.
This chamfering boring bar is intended for use in CNC lathes and machining centers performing internal chamfering or countersinking operations in small-diameter bores. The 0.1575 inch minimum bore diameter makes it well suited for micro-bore and small-diameter precision work in aerospace, medical, and general precision machining applications. The 1.6548 inch overall length and 0.0039 inch corner radius support accurate, repeatable chamfer geometry in production and job-shop environments alike.
