The ISCAR 6200325 is a solid carbide grooving insert in the Heli-Grip series, designed for external grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying grade IC808 with a PVD-applied AlTiN, TiAlN, and TiN multi-layer coating, it delivers thermal resistance and edge stability across a wide range of workpiece materials. The insert has a 4.76 mm (0.1874 inch) cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 2.80 mm (0.1102 inch). A 0.80 mm (0.0315 inch) corner radius and a Y-style chip breaker geometry support controlled chip evacuation. The double-ended design extends useful tool life, and the clamp-style holding method secures the insert firmly in compatible toolholders.
