The ISCAR 6061117 is a solid carbide cutoff insert designed for parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a 2.4 mm (0.0945 inch) cutting width, an 8-degree right-hand lead angle, and a 7-degree relief angle. The insert is manufactured from solid carbide in the IC54 manufacturer grade and carries a C5 material grade rating. It is held in place using a clamp-style holding method and belongs to ISCAR's Self-Grip series. The bright, uncoated finish is suited for applications where coating is not required or where base carbide performance is preferred. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert in compatible Self-Grip toolholders.
