This insert is installed by a machinist or toolroom technician into a compatible VNMS-style toolholder. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket seat for debris or damage before seating the insert, and ensure the clamp and pin are tightened to the toolholder manufacturerss specified procedure. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut rating for this insert geometry.
