The ISCAR 3800001 is an external, right-hand indexable threading toolholder from the IscarThread series, designed for use on CNC lathes and turning centers in production machining environments. The toolholder features a 16 mm square shank (0.6299 inches) and an overall length of 100 mm (3.937 inches), making it compatible with standard tool posts and turrets sized for 16 mm tooling. It accepts a wide range of ER and ER/L style threading inserts, secured by a screw-clamp holding method. This toolholder is suited for machinists and tooling technicians running external thread forms across multiple thread standards.

This toolholder is intended for external threading operations on turned components in both job-shop and production settings. It is designed to cut a broad range of thread profiles by swapping compatible ER and ER/L inserts, covering standard, pipe, and specialty thread forms including UN, NPT, NPTF, ISO, BSPT, ACME, STACME, API, APIR RD, MJ, UNJ, TR, RND, SAGE, and PG profiles. Installation Notes

Select and index the appropriate ER or ER/L insert for the target thread form and secure it with the clamping screw before initiating any cut.
