The toolholder features a neutral rake angle of 0 degrees and a 91-degree lead angle, making it well suited for general-purpose turning passes. The square shank measures 16.00 mm (0.6299 inches) on both width and height, and the overall length is 150.00 mm (5.9055 inches). Insert retention is handled by a lever-clamp mechanism, which provides consistent seating and quick index changes. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers of this toolholder.
This toolholder is designed for cutting applications where a right-hand cutting direction and neutral rake geometry are required. It accepts DC..11T3.. series inserts and is confirmed compatible with the DCGT11T302-SM insert size code. Typical applications include finish and semi-finish turning of steel, stainless, and non-ferrous materials in production shop environments. It does not have coolant-through capability, so external coolant delivery should be planned accordingly.
