The ISCAR 3401339 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 3/4-inch milling diameter, a 4-inch length of cut, and four flutes, this tool delivers efficient material removal and surface finish quality in demanding machining environments. The TiAlCN coating improves heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. The variable index geometry reduces harmonic vibration, making it well-suited for high-speed and high-feed applications. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, die-mold, and general manufacturing work with this tool category daily.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills using a 3/4-inch collet or end mill holder. The 7-inch overall length and 4-inch length of cut support slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in medium-to-deep cavity work. The 38-degree helix angle promotes aggressive chip evacuation. Single-end construction means the tool is replaced rather than flipped when the cutting edge is spent. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional spindle rotation on most machining centers.
Designed for use in standard 3/4-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, or hydraulic/shrink-fit toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills accepting straight-shank tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop or tool-change state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank to the minimum insertion depth recommended by the toolholder manufacturer to prevent pull-out under cutting load. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use; do not run a chipped or heavily worn end mill, as edge failure can damage the workpiece and toolholder.
