The ISCAR 3399085 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 7/16 inch (0.4370 inch) cutting diameter, a 1/8 inch (0.1250 inch) corner radius, and a 2 inch length of cut, with a 4 inch overall length. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a coarse pitch supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. A DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) PVD coating provides wear resistance and low friction suited to non-ferrous workpiece materials. The straight cylindrical shank mounts directly into a compatible toolholder for secure, repeatable setup.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and milling machines processing non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass alloys. The extra-long reach configuration and extended 2 inch reach length make it well suited for deep-pocket milling, slotting, and profiling operations where standard-length tools cannot access the workpiece. It is specified as part of the ISCAR ECAI-B3-EC series and carries catalog number ECAI-B3 .437-2CR125-4EC. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shop and production environments are the primary installers of this tool.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 7/16 inch straight cylindrical shank. Part of the ISCAR ECAI-B3-EC series; manufacturer catalog number ECAI-B3 .437-2CR125-4EC. Intended for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials (material code N).
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is clean and free of debris before mounting. Tighten the toolholder to the spindle and secure the end mill shank to the manufacturer-specified clamping torque for the toolholder type in use. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, particularly given the extra-long reach of this tool.
