The ISCAR 3336733 is a corner radius end replaceable milling tip designed for high-performance milling operations in demanding machining environments. Part of the MM EC series, this tip features a 4-flute carbide construction with an IC908 manufacturer grade and a TiAlN PVD coating that extends tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys. The cutting diameter is 12.70 mm (0.50 inches) with a maximum depth of cut of 0.75 inches. A 46-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tip is installed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians on compatible end mill bodies in the MM EC system.
This milling tip is suited for use in machining centers and CNC milling operations across both roughing and semi-finishing applications. It handles a broad range of primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. The 90-degree lead angle and 0.0150 inch (0.38 mm) corner radius make it appropriate for shoulder milling and peripheral milling passes where a square shoulder profile with a controlled corner radius is required. The Series MM EC-Z4-1.5xD body system is the intended platform for this tip.
Designed for use with ISCAR MM EC series end mill bodies in the MM EC-Z4-1.5xD system. Insert size designation is 500H75R015. Intended for right-hand milling operations on compatible MM EC body holders.
End replaceable milling tips of this type are installed and changed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a locked-out state before tip removal or installation. Use the correct torque wrench and ISCAR-specified clamping hardware to seat the tip properly — do not overtighten by hand or with non-specified tools. Verify runout after installation before resuming cuts.
