The ISCAR 3260100 is a SumoCham-series replaceable-tip drill body designed for precision holemaking in metalworking and machining applications. The drill accommodates a diameter range of 0.827 to 0.862 inches and reaches a maximum drilling depth of 2.48 inches, with a 3xD depth-to-diameter ratio. It accepts interchangeable inserts in the FCP, ICK, ICK-2M, ICM, ICN, ICP, and iCP-2M styles using an insert seat size 21. The 1-inch Weldon Flat shank provides secure tool holding in compatible chucks and holders. Through-coolant capability supports extended tool life and chip evacuation in demanding cut conditions. This tool body is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
The ISCAR 3260100 is suited for ferrous and non-ferrous holemaking in both manual and CNC machining centers. Its replaceable-tip design reduces downtime by allowing insert swaps without removing the drill body from the machine. The Weldon Flat shank is compatible with standard side-lock toolholders common in vertical and horizontal machining centers. The overall length of 5.99 inches and body length of 3.79 inches make it appropriate for moderate-reach applications in production environments where consistent hole quality is required.
Compatible insert styles include FCP, ICK, ICK-2M, ICM, ICN, ICP, and iCP-2M at insert seat size 21. The DCN-style toolholder body is part of the ISCAR SumoCham series. The 1-inch Weldon Flat shank fits standard side-lock holders designed for that shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the drill body from the toolholder. Verify insert seat cleanliness and correct insert seating before torquing the clamping screw to the insert manufacturer specification. Confirm through-coolant passages are clear and coolant pressure is within the machine and tooling specifications before running the first cut.
