The ISCAR 3203022 is a replaceable-tip drill body from the UniSumoCham series, designed for precision holemaking in metalworking and machining applications. It accepts a drill diameter range of 19 to 19.89 mm (0.748 to 0.783 inches) and reaches a maximum drill depth of 56.9 mm (2.24 inches), corresponding to a 3xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The 19 mm Weldon Flat shank provides positive rotational drive and secure chuck engagement. Through-coolant capability delivers cutting fluid directly to the tip, supporting chip evacuation and tool life in demanding materials. Machining centers and CNC drilling operations running high-productivity holemaking cycles are the primary application. A licensed machinist or CNC tooling technician is the typical end user.
The 3203022 drill body is suited for use on CNC machining centers and drilling stations requiring consistent, repeatable hole geometry in the 19 to 19.89 mm diameter range. The replaceable-tip design reduces downtime by allowing quick insert swaps without removing the body from the toolholder. Compatible insert styles include FCP, ICK, ICK-2M, ICM, ICP, and iCP-2M with an insert seat size of 19. This body carries a DCNS toolholder style designation and conforms to ISO 13399 tooling data standards, supporting integration with tool management software.
Designed for use with FCP, ICK, ICK-2M, ICM, ICP, and iCP-2M replaceable drill tip inserts at insert seat size 19, within the ISCAR UniSumoCham series platform. Toolholder style is DCNS.
Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the drill body from the toolholder. Secure the Weldon Flat shank with appropriate set screws torqued to the toolholder specification. Verify through-coolant passages are clear and that coolant pressure meets the machine specification before beginning a drilling cycle.
