The ISCAR 3200591 is a replaceable-tip drill body from the CHAMDRILL series, designed for precision holemaking in metalworking and machining applications. It accepts IDI-SG and IDI-SK insert styles, allowing the cutting tip to be swapped out without replacing the entire tool body. The drill covers a diameter range of 20 to 20.9 mm (0.7874 to 0.8228 inches) and supports a maximum drill depth of 60 mm (2.362 inches), corresponding to a 3xD depth-to-diameter ratio. Overall length is 143 mm (5.630 inches). Through-coolant capability is built in, supporting chip evacuation and thermal management during deep-hole drilling operations.

Installation Notes

Installation and insert changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the Weldon flat shank is properly seated and the set screw in the toolholder is torqued to the toolholder manufacturer's specification before operation. Verify through-coolant passages are clear and coolant pressure is appropriate for the application before initiating a cut. Do not exceed the maximum drill depth or feed rates specified by the insert manufacturer for the selected IDI-SG or IDI-SK tip.
