Built in the Helitang series, this cutter holds 12 inserts and operates at a 0/90 degree lead angle, delivering clean, square shoulders in a single pass. It accepts T490 LN 1306 insert style inserts secured by clamp and screw, and features through-coolant capability to manage heat and chip evacuation during high-demand cuts. With a maximum cutting diameter of 2.5 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 1.41 inches, it suits medium-duty face milling on machining centers and mill-turn platforms. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users.
This face mill is suited for use on vertical and horizontal machining centers where square-shoulder profiling and face milling are required. The 4-flute configuration and Helitang geometry support consistent chip flow and reduced vibration across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The through-coolant feature makes it practical for deep shoulder cuts where flood coolant cannot reach the cutting zone effectively.
