The ISCAR 3103094 is a replaceable tip milling shank designed for use with the Multimaster modular tooling system. This solid carbide shank features a stepped straight shank profile with a 0.5 inch shank diameter and a T08 neck thread, allowing quick-change milling tip swaps without removing the holder from the machine spindle. The neck diameter measures 0.48 inches, the overall length is 4.0 inches, and the projection is 1.5 inches. The MM S-A toolholder style designation is standard for this shank configuration. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling specialists install and configure this component in production milling setups.
This shank is intended for milling applications where the Multimaster system is already in use. It is suited for light to medium milling operations on machining centers and CNC mills where modular, interchangeable cutting tips reduce changeover time and tooling inventory. Compatible tip styles include BCM-MM, HCE-MM, HCM-MM, and HP E90AN-MM-07, making it versatile across face milling, helical milling, and copy milling head configurations. The stepped shank design fits standard collet or milling chuck holders sized for 0.5 inch straight shanks.
Compatible replaceable tip styles listed in product data include BCM-MM, HCE-MM, HCM-MM, and HP E90AN-MM-07 Multimaster heads. This shank is part of the ISCAR Multimaster series and is designed for use with Multimaster-compatible milling tips that accept the T08 neck thread interface.
Installation and tip changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or exchanging the shank or attached milling tip. Use the appropriate Multimaster torque wrench or spanner for tip installation — refer to the ISCAR Multimaster assembly instructions for correct seating procedure. Do not overtighten or cross-thread the neck interface, as solid carbide is brittle and the threaded connection is precision-ground.
