The ISCAR 3103093 is a solid carbide replaceable tip milling shank in the Multimaster series, designed for modular milling tool assemblies used in CNC machining operations. The shank features a stepped straight profile with a 3/8 inch (0.3750 inch) shank diameter and a T06 neck thread, accepting a wide range of interchangeable Multimaster milling tips. Overall length is 4.75 inches with a 2.0 inch projection and a 1.95 inch head length. Neck diameter measures 0.364 inches. Solid carbide construction provides rigidity and vibration resistance critical to maintaining dimensional accuracy in milling applications.
This shank is intended for use in milling operations where quick tip changeability and consistent tool geometry are required. It fits standard Multimaster-compatible toolholders with MM S-A style holders. Compatible milling tip styles are broad, making this shank suitable for face milling, end milling, and profiling operations in production and job-shop environments. Installation and tip selection are typically performed by machinists and CNC setup technicians in metalworking facilities.
Compatible milling tip styles include: MM EA, MM EA-CF, MM EB, MM EBA, MM EC-3, MM EC-4, MM EC-6, MM EC-CF, MM EC-D, MM EC-H, MM ECD, MM ECF, MM ECS, MM ECU, MM EDF, MM EFF, MM EFS, MM EFS-CF, MM ERA, MM ERS, MM ETR, MM FF, MM GRIT-16K/P, MM GRIT-18K/P, MM GRIT-K/P-45A, MM HBR, MM HC, and MM HCD. Designed for use with MM S-A style Multimaster toolholders.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is placed in an e-stop or locked-out state before changing or inspecting tooling. Thread the milling tip into the T06 neck using the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster assembly tool; do not use substitutes that could damage the thread form. Inspect the shank and tip interface for debris or wear before each use to maintain concentricity and safe cutting performance.
