The ISCAR 3102119 is an indexable square-shoulder face mill designed for precision milling of 90-degree shoulders in ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. Part of the HM90 series, this cutter accepts six AD 1505 inserts secured by clamp and screw holding method, delivering a maximum cutting diameter of 2.5 inches and a maximum depth of cut of 0.56 inches. The 1-inch arbor hole provides a secure arbor mount for use on vertical and horizontal milling machines. Right-hand cutting direction and a 0/90 lead angle support true square-shoulder profiles, making this cutter suitable for face milling, shoulder milling, and step milling operations.
This face mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills in production and job-shop environments. The HM90 F90A platform is a widely used ISCAR cutter style configured for high-feed square-shoulder applications. The 1.75-inch overall height and 0.375-inch keyway width allow direct arbor mounting with positive drive. Typical users are machinists and toolroom technicians performing shoulder and face milling operations in industrial manufacturing settings. The cutter style designation is HM90 F90A-15, and the manufacturer catalog number is HM90 F90A D2.50-6-1.00.
Designed for use with AD 1505 and HM90 AD 1505 series indexable inserts. Mounts on 1-inch arbor toolholders. Cutter style is HM90 F90A-15; manufacturer catalog number HM90 F90A D2.50-6-1.00. Conforms to ISO tooling standards.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine control in a locked-out state. Torque insert clamping screws with the appropriate Torx or hex key driver as specified by ISCAR insert documentation for the AD 1505 insert style. Inspect insert pockets and seating surfaces for chips or damage before seating new inserts. Confirm arbor and keyway alignment before tightening the arbor nut to prevent runout.
