The ISCAR 3101933 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill from the Heli2000 series, designed for high-productivity milling operations in metalworking environments. Built on an HM90 E90A-10 toolholder platform with a 90-degree lead angle, it accepts AP..1003.. and HM90 AP..1003.. insert styles secured by screw clamping. The cutter body is constructed from solid carbide and features a Weldon flat shank for positive drive and minimal pullout risk. With a 1-inch cutting diameter, 4-flute configuration, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.394 inches, this toolholder is suited for aggressive shoulder milling passes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Licensed machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians are the primary users.
The ISCAR 3101933 is intended for square-shoulder milling applications where a true 90-degree wall angle is required. Its 3/4-inch Weldon flat shank is compatible with standard Weldon-style end mill holders used on vertical machining centers, horizontal mills, and CNC milling machines. The Heli2000 series is engineered for general-purpose milling in production and job-shop environments. A maximum ramping angle of 2.5 degrees allows for limited helical interpolation entry where direct plunging is not feasible. The toolholder does not feature through-coolant capability, so external coolant delivery or flood cooling should be planned at setup.
Compatible with AP..1003.. and HM90 AP..1003.. insert styles. Designed for use with standard Weldon-style end mill holders accepting a 3/4-inch shank diameter on vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolroom technician. Secure the toolholder in a Weldon-style end mill holder, tightening the set screw against the flat to the machine tool manufacturer's specification. Inspect insert seats for chips or debris before seating inserts, and confirm screw torque with a calibrated torque driver per the insert manufacturer's guidelines. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a production cut.
