The ISCAR 3101932 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal-cutting applications. Part of the Heli2000 series and using the HM90 E90A-10 toolholder style, it accepts AP..1003.. insert style inserts secured by screw-lock retention. The cutter body is constructed from solid carbide and features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 90-degree lead angle, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.394 inches. With three flutes and three insert seats, it delivers stable, repeatable material removal in square-shoulder milling operations. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in aerospace, general machining, and production environments will find this toolholder well-suited to demanding work.
This end mill is intended for square-shoulder milling on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The Weldon flat shank with a 1 inch shank diameter and 2.75 inch shank length provides positive drive and secure tool holding in standard Weldon-style chucks and side-lock holders. The usable flute length of 0.960 inches and a maximum ramping angle of 2.5 degrees allow for limited helical interpolation entries. The overall length of 3.75 inches keeps the assembly compact for use in confined workspaces or close-tolerance fixtures. Coolant-through is not supported on this body.
Designed for use with AP..1003.. and HM90 AP..1003.. insert styles. Catalog reference number HM90 E90A-D1.00-3-W1.00. Compatible with standard Weldon-style side-lock tool holders accepting a 1 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and the tool changer is disabled before loading or unloading the cutter body. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the holder before tightening the side-lock screw to the holder manufacturer specification. Inspect insert seats and torque each insert screw to the insert manufacturer specification before the first cut.
