The ISCAR 2800756 is an external left hand indexable grooving toolholder designed for precision grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the PHS toolholder style within the Cut Grip series, it accepts GDMW 2.4 inserts secured by a clamp-type insert holding method. The holder handles a maximum depth of cut of 0.5 inches and accommodates groove widths from 0.094 inches to 0.125 inches. The 0.5 inches x 0.5 inches square shank runs 5.11 inches in shank length, with an overall length of 5.9 inches. It conforms to ISO 13399 tooling standards, making it compatible with tool management systems that use that data format.
This toolholder is intended for external non-face grooving applications where a left hand cutting direction is required. It is suited for use on a broad range of workpiece materials, covering ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S, making it applicable across steel, cast iron, stainless, non-ferrous, and superalloy turning work. The maximum workpiece diameter is 1.0 inches. Typical users include CNC machinists and toolroom professionals working in production and job shop environments.
