The ISCAR 2500615 is an external left hand indexable grooving toolholder designed for precision grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Part of the Heli-Grip series, it accepts DG and GRIP series inserts in a clamp-style holding method for secure, repeatable edge positioning. The toolholder measures 7 inches in overall length with a 1.25 inch by 1.25 inch square shank. Groove widths from 0.236 inches to 0.250 inches are supported. This toolholder is intended for use by machinists and CNC turning specialists in production and job-shop environments requiring consistent external grooving performance.

This toolholder is suited for external grooving on workpieces up to 2.36 inches in diameter. It handles a universal range of workpiece materials, including steels, stainless steels, cast irons, non-ferrous alloys, heat-resistant superalloys, and hardened materials, corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S.
