Product Description

The ISCAR 2301401 is an indexable grooving and cut-off toolholder from the Do-Grip series, designed for external turning operations on CNC lathes and similar machine tools. It accepts DGN-style inserts using a clamp-style holding method and supports groove widths from 3 to 3.18 mm with a maximum depth of cut of 10 mm. The toolholder features a 20 x 20 mm square shank and an overall length of 140 mm (5.51 inches). This is a left-hand orientation holder. It is installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals in production and job-shop turning environments.

This toolholder is suited for external grooving and cut-off applications on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces in both production and job-shop settings. The Do-Grip clamping design provides rigid insert seating, which supports stable cutting performance in grooving operations. The 20 mm shank height and 104.4 mm shank length make it compatible with standard 20 mm boring bar pockets and toolpost holders on small to mid-size CNC and manual lathes. It is not configured for coolant-through delivery.

Installation Notes
