The ISCAR 2301398 is a right-hand indexable grooving and cutoff toolholder from the Do Grip series, designed for external grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It accepts DG. 1.. and DG. 3.. series inserts secured by a clamp-style holding method. The toolholder features a square 16 x 16 mm shank with an overall length of 5.5 inches (140 mm) and a maximum depth of cut of 0.63 inches (16 mm). Groove widths from 0.118 inches (3 mm) to 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) are supported. This holder is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in production and job-shop turning environments.
