The ISCAR 2301241 is a double-end neutral indexable cutoff blade designed for grooving, parting, and turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the DGFH blade style, it measures 26 mm (1.0236 inches) in height, 1.6 mm (0.0630 inches) in width, and 110 mm (4.3307 inches) in overall length. The self-grip insert holding method locks DG.1 and DG.2 series inserts securely without additional clamping hardware. Certified to ISO 13399 standards, this blade is suited for shops that require reliable, repeatable tooling across high-volume production runs. Weighing approximately 0.05 pounds, it is compact and easy to handle during setup.
This blade is used in metalcutting applications where precise parting, grooving, and turning are required. It is compatible with both the Do-Grip and Heli-Grip insert systems, giving machinists flexibility when selecting inserts for specific materials and cut depths. The neutral cutting direction makes it suitable for standard right-hand turret configurations. Maximum workpiece diameter is 1.54 inches, making it appropriate for small- to medium-diameter bar stock and turned components in job shop and production environments. A cutting height of 21.4 mm (0.8425 inches) provides adequate clearance for most standard parting depths.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and in a locked-out, tagged-out state. Seat the insert fully into the self-grip pocket before initiating any cuts to ensure proper clamping force is engaged. Verify blade seating in the toolholder shank and confirm all set screws are torqued per the toolholder manufacturer specifications before running. Inspect the insert pocket and blade body for chips or debris before each insert change.
