The ISCAR 2300619 is a double-end, right-hand indexable cutoff blade designed for parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built to the SGIH blade style, it measures 1.2598 inches (32 mm) in height and 5.9055 inches (150 mm) in overall length, with a blade width of 0.0945 inches (2.40 mm). The blade uses ISCAR's Self Grip insert holding method, which secures GT.. 3 series inserts without screws or clamps, allowing fast insert changes under production conditions. A cutting height of 0.9843 inches (25 mm) and a maximum workpiece diameter of 3.94 inches make it suitable for a wide range of bar and shaft diameters. Machinists and CNC toolroom technicians are the primary installers.
This blade is applied in cut-off and parting operations on lathes, turning centers, and multi-spindle machines handling ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The double-end design extends blade service life by providing two usable cutting positions. The auto-retracting blade type assists chip clearance and reduces interference during deep parting cuts. It is compatible with SGTBN-style tool blocks and is suited for both production turning environments and job-shop applications where frequent diameter changes occur. The minimum insert width accepted is 0.1220 inches (3.10 mm), matching the 0.1220 inch maximum insert width, making insert selection straightforward.
Designed for use with SGTBN 25-6 and SGTBN 32-6 tool blocks. Accepts GT.. 3 series inserts. Insert width is fixed at 0.1220 inches (3.10 mm).
Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or indexing inserts. Ensure the blade is fully seated and clamped in the compatible SGTBN tool block before resuming cutting operations. Do not exceed the rated maximum workpiece diameter of 3.94 inches, as overloading the blade can cause insert ejection or blade fracture.
