The ISCAR 2300328 is an SGFFH-style double-end, right-hand indexable cutoff and grooving blade designed for use in CNC lathes and turning centers. It accepts GFF-N series inserts held in place by a self-grip clamping mechanism, eliminating the need for top clamps or screws. The blade measures 32mm (1.26 inches) high, 5.2mm (0.20 inches) wide, and 150mm (5.91 inches) in overall length. Insert width is 6mm. The self-grip design provides secure insert retention under interrupted cuts and high feed conditions. This blade is intended for professional machinists and toolroom technicians working on grooving, parting, and turning operations.
The 2300328 is suited for grooving, parting, and turning applications on lathes and turning centers where a double-end blade configuration improves tool life and reduces cost per cutting edge. The right-hand cutting direction makes it compatible with standard forward-rotation turning setups. It supports workpiece diameters from a minimum of 5.83 inches up to a maximum of 27.56 inches and allows a maximum depth of cut of 35mm (1.38 inches). This blade is a fit for production shops, tool-and-die operations, and job shops running medium to large diameter barstock or tubing.
Designed to accept GFF-N series inserts with a 6mm insert width. Compatible with tool holders and blocks configured for SGFFH-style blades in the ISCAR Self Grip series. Verify holder pocket dimensions against blade height (32mm) and blade width (5.2mm) before installation.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or replacing the insert or blade. Confirm that the blade is properly clamped in the holder block and that insert seating is fully engaged in the self-grip pocket before resuming cuts. Do not exceed the maximum depth of cut or workpiece diameter limits specified by the manufacturer.
