Built from IN2005-grade solid carbide and coated with TiAlN for heat and wear resistance, this tool cuts UN-standard threads at 5/16 inch thread size with 18 teeth per inch. The 3-flute, right-hand helical design provides smooth chip evacuation and accurate thread form. With a long-reach configuration and 0.9100-inch length of cut, it handles threads in deeper bores where standard-length tooling cannot reach. Installation Notes

Thread milling with this tool requires a CNC machining center programmed for helical interpolation. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool, so external coolant or minimum quantity lubrication should be directed at the cutting zone when required by the workpiece material.
